Marine –\u00a0Wind south 15 knots diminishing to southwest 10 early this morning except light near the north end. Wind becoming light this afternoon then becoming southeast 10 this evening except light over eastern sections. Wind becoming light Saturday afternoon.\u00a0Waves \u00a0one half metre subsiding to less than one half metre this afternoon.\u00a0Chance of showers this morning with a risk of thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>News Tidbits – The MNRF increased the area under a Restricted Fire Zone. The community of Wawa has also had all burning permits revoked during this time.<\/p>\n

Algoma Public Health has issued a swimming advisory for Harmony Beach, located north of Sault Ste. Marie. Water samples are taken from there weekly and test results of samples taken Tuesday contained high levels of bacteria.\u00a0\u00a0\u2028It is unsafe to swim at beaches with increased levels of bacteria.\u00a0 When sample results return to safe levels, the advisory will be removed.<\/p>\n
