Between the Covers – July 26

New books – New on the seven day fiction shelf this week: “Love Story” by Karen Kingsbury, “If We Were Villains” by M.L. Rio, “Matchup” by various authors, and “The Identicals” by Elin Hilderbrand.

New children’s books –  this week are: “West Coast Wild”, “Bear’s Winter Party”, Migrant”, and in the French section “Legende du careajou (La) and Mon premier livre de contes du Canada.

TD Summer Reading Club – The TD Summer Reading Club started Monday, July 3 as well as craft club, play with clay, science club and game day. Some of the programs are sign up and some are drop in so please check with the staff at the library. You can call the library at 856-2244 ext 290 for more information. Staff Picks for the Month of July are: ‘Firefly Lane’ by Kristen Hannah, the classic novel ‘The Old Man and the Sea’ by Ernest Hemingway, the young adult selection of ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ by Ransom Riggs, and ‘The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry’ by Rachel Joyce.
