Weather – Cool, damp and foggy. From Schreiber to Sault Ste. Marie, Environment Canada has issued a Fog Advisory, ” Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring. Cool moist air off of Lake Superior will produce widespread fog this morning over areas along the north and eastern shorelines of Lake Superior. It should tend to lift later this morning. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”

The fog is expected to lift later this morning, but there is a 40% chance of drizzle this morning, which may change to showers. A high of 13 is expected.

News Tidbits – A 23-year old male has been arrested in Manchester in relation to last night’s Ariana Grande concert attack in which a man detonated an explosive device killing 22 and injuring dozens.

Queen Elizabeth issued a statement to the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, “The whole nation has been shocked by the death and injury in Manchester last night of so many people, adults and children, who had just been enjoying a concert. I know I speak for everyone in expressing my deepest sympathy to all who have been affected by this dreadful event and especially to the families and friends of those who have died or were injured.

I want to thank all the members of the emergency services, who have responded with such professionalism and care. And I would like to express my admiration for the way the people of Manchester have responded, with humanity and compassion, to this act of barbarity.”
