SE OPP Wawa/Dubreuilville – Six changed with drug offenses

On May 3, 2017 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Detachment along with members from the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Provincial Operation Intelligence Bureau (POIB), and Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrants and made numerous arrests in the Communities of Wawa and Dubreuilville Ontario as a part of Project Dunn which was an OPP led initiative to combat drug trafficking in the area.

Police seized a quantity of Cocaine, Methamphetamine and Cannabis with a street value of approximately $ 3,975.00. Also seized was $2,190.00 Canadian currency, 2 firearms and a cell phone.

As a result the following people have been charged:

Pierre L. DELGUIDICE, 61 years of age, of Dubreuilville, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Adult Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – under 3 kg contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA
  • Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) of the CDSA
  • 2 counts of Adult Trafficking in a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA
  • 3 counts of Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000- in Canada contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC
  • Adult Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition contrary to section 86(1) of the CC
  • 2 counts Adult Breach of Firearms Regulation- Store firearm or restricted weapon contrary to section 86(2) of the CC

Steffani A. OLIVER, 20 years of age, of Wawa, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Adult Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA
  • Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 -in Canada contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC

 

Michel J. BERTRAND, 41 years of age, of Dubreuilville, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Adult Trafficking in a Schedule I substance- Methamphetamines contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA

 

Donald CARROLL-BURNS, 28 years of age, of Wawa, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Adult Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA
  • Adult Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – in Canada contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC
  • Adult Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – Under 3kg contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA
  • Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine contrary to section 5(2) of the CDSA

Samantha M. MCDONALD, 37 years of age, of Dubreuilville Ontario, was charged with the following offences;

  • Adult Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance Methamphetamine contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA
  • Adult Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000-in Canada contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC

 

Shawn R. GRAVELLE, 35 years of age, of Dubreuilville Ontario, was charged with the following offences;

  • 3 counts of Adult Trafficking in a Schedule I Substance Methamphetamine contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA.
  • 2 counts of Adult Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 – in Canada contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the CC

 

OLIVER, DELGUIDICE, BERTRAND, CARROLL-BURNS and MCDONALD were released from custody and are to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Wawa, Ontario on July 10, 2017. Shawn GRAVELLE was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
