MARSHALL, Helen Anna (nee Bussineau

Cancer Sucks!

It took another great lady on Friday, May 5, 2017. Helen passed away at the Lady Dunn Health Centre at the age of 76 years young. She is joined in heaven with her daughter Elaine Bussineau, who also died of cancer in 2013. Helen leaves behind her daughter Robin (Rick) and sons Thomas (Evangeline), Scott and Darren (Georgia). Loving grandma to Ryan and Melina DeSaulnier, Randy Bussineau, Gregory Rozack and Genevive Marshall. Dear sister to Lloyd Bussineau, David “Bud” Bussineau, the late Jack Bussineau (Clair), Doloras Pinder (late Norman) and Olive Belair (late Glen). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Helen had a few very special friends that she is leaving behind, Judy Knee, Stella Neveau and Amy Stevens but will be joined in heaven by many friends that passed before her.

At Helen’s request there will be no funeral services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

For those who wish to honour Helen, memorial donations made to the Lady Dunn Health Centre Foundation or to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Mom would like everyone to remember her as she was, full of life and vitality, a hard worker and a great friend to many.

“Until we meet each other again, our lovely midnight rose.”

Our Wonderful Mother

Our mother is a good person
She made many sacrifices
Just to give her kids
A good and happy life.

Our mother had to fight
And struggle all the way
Just to give her kids
A decent meal a day.

She didn’t have lots of money
Just a whole lot of love
Our mother is our everything
A mother is made up of.
She taught us not to worry
She taught us not to cry
When we had a problem
She was always standing by.

Our mother raised all five of us
She did it by herself
Our mother is so loving
She was like nobody else.
