Weather – Today Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud, clearing in the late afternoon. Temperatures should be a high of -12. If you are out and about this morning, bundle up, the wind is expected to be -29.

With the gusty winds overnight there may be drifting, especially in your driveway. However, the waves on Lake Superior should be pretty if you are driving along Hwy 17 to the Soo. Environment Canada is forcasting waves 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 near noon and to one metre by Thursday morning.

Local – Tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Lady Dunn Health Centre Boardroom (downstairs) Sandi Lowe will be presenting a slideshow about her latest book, “The Ley of the Land”.

Sir James Dunn School is also holding a Public Information Meeting about the amalgamation of Sir James Dunn Public School into Michipicoten High School, creating a JK – 12 school. The meeting begins at 6:30 in the Library upstairs.
